Dr. Mitchiner has been a pediatrician with Sumter Pediatrics, PA, for nineteen years. He is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed his pediatric training at the Medical University of South Carolina. He also completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Mitchiner is certified in pediatrics and sports medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. He currently serves as chair of the Palmetto Health Tuomey Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and has served in many other leadership capacities at the hospital.
